Noah's Ark Art work
To consolidate the children's learning about Noah's Ark the children got to work in twos and make animal plates and paintings of animals. Children got to use a variety of resources and techniques.
Jigsaw
We are very lucky at The Oval School to use the PSHE resource Jigsaw. Children throughout the school join in with a jigsaw session every Wednesday morning, where children get to meet jigsaw Jack and talk about different topics. We have been talking about fairness.

Thank you for joining us after school to see the wonderful artwork that children completed this term, we hope you enjoyed it. Throughout the year we hope to invite you to more galleries to show you what creative things the children have been up to!

Welcome children and carers to year 1
Please ask at the classroom door if you have any questions, we want you and your child to have an enjoyable journey throughout year one.
Reminders
*Money is only collected on Mon,Tues and Weds mornings.(all monies to be in an envelope labelled)
*PE is every Thursday-all children should wear a blue t-shirt,blue shorts/jogging bottoms and pumps.
*Children should bring a clear water bottle filled with water only (daily).
*Reading books and diaries should be brought in daily.
Homework is given out on Fridays and collected in on Wednesdays.
We encourage you to read with your child daily for a short time and comment in their daily.
We hope to update this blog as much as we can with work completed throughout the week and special events.
